Description
Very nice vintage view of the F. W. Woolworth store at 701 Nicollet in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, from 1940.
This beautiful art deco building was built in 1937 and graced the corner of 7th and Nicollet until the early 1970s when it was demolished for the IDS Center. A new Woolworths was built on the same spot and remained open until 1993.
A bit of history, fantastic for dropping friends or family a note the old-fashioned way, and makes a great gift! This is a reproduction of the original 1940 postcard. 4″ x 6″ postcards
