Steamer passing through the shipping canal, Duluth, Minnesota, 1910 Postcard Reproduction

$9.50

Description

Nice view of what appears to be the steamer D. O. Mills passing through the ship canal into Duluth harbor in 1910.

Duluth is a port city on Lake Superior in Minnesota. The waterfront Lakewalk trail passes along Canal Park, with views of the 1905 Aerial Lift Bridge. The landmark connects the city to the Park Point sandbar. The Great Lakes Aquarium includes salt- and freshwater animals. Housed in a former train depot, Lake Superior Railroad Museum features vintage locomotives. Glensheen is a 1908 mansion on a vast lakeside estate.

A bit of history, fantastic for dropping friends or family a note the old-fashioned way, and makes a great gift! This is a reproduction of the original 1910 postcard. 4″ x 6″ postcards
