Description

Great vintage view of the Sterling Motel in Winona, Minnesota, from the late 1950s.

The Sterling Motel opened in 1955 and was a family-owned Winona landmark until 2015 when the motel closed and was demolished.

Winona is a city in and the county seat of Winona County, in the state of Minnesota. Located in bluff country on the Mississippi River, its most noticeable physical landmark is Sugar Loaf. The city is named after legendary figure Winona, said to have been the first-born daughter of Chief Wapasha III.

A bit of history, fantastic for dropping friends or family a note the old-fashioned way, and makes a great gift! This is a reproduction of the original 1950s postcard. 4″ x 6″ postcards
