Excelsior is a community in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. Its population was 2,188 as of the 2010 census. As of 2018, its estimated population was 2,345. The community is located approximately 15 miles southwest of downtown Minneapolis on the southern shore of Lake Minnetonka.
