Rare historic view of Lafayette, Minnesota from 1911. Most of the business district was destroyed by a fire in 1908, and the immediate rebuilding is a sign of the determination and drive of the populace.

Lafayette is a city in Nicollet County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 504 at the 2010 census. It is a farming community just outside the larger town of New Ulm.
